Walking on College street this past spring, the irresistible aroma of cinnamon led us to Rosen’s Cinnamon Buns and mouthfuls of sweet, gooey goodness. Naturally, our first thought was “What beer would go with this?” followed soon after by “What beer could we make with this?”
A batch of buns made it back to the brewery for a thorough deconstruction and a recipe was born. And so we present the Ides of December, a dark, viscous, warm and spicy brew.
