Light, refreshing, crisp, clean and easy-drinking, this refreshing, lagered blonde is meant to spotlight, rather than compete with, any cuisine. Light straw in colour, this is a highly-refreshing beer, with a crisp, clean finish. An uncomplicated, well-made lagered blonde.
Tasting Notes
- Hops: magnum
- Aroma: very light, grain husk, bread dough, a light herbaceous component that is hop-derived
- Appearance: gold, brilliantly clear with a persistent white head, decent lacing
- Taste: leads with a malt-derived flavour - similar to crackers with a hint of candy sweetness. There’s a balancing hop-bitterness, with no detectable hop flavour.
- Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, with a medium-to-medium high carbonation ‘prickly’.
- Overall: A balanced approach to a blonde ale neither malt- nor hop-dominant, designed to be refreshing and thirst-quenching
