Whether you’re pacing the halls & climbing the walls, or just singing a hundred verses in ragtime, do yourself a favour and settle down easy with this fruity, yet dry & effervescent saison.
Tasting Notes
- OG: 9.5 Plato ABV: 4% IBU: 20 SRM: 3
- Carbonation: Medium/High - 2.65 Volumes
- Preferred Glass: Tulip
- Malts: Pilsner, Spelt, Chit Malt
- Hops: Magnum, Barbe Rouge
- Yeast: Escarpment New World Saison Blend
- Extras: Pomegranate, beet juice, citric acid
- Aroma: Black pepper, citrus, clove, bread dough, hard candy
- Appearance: Straw-coloured with streaks of red/purple. Cloudy. Substantial, off-white head with moderate retention and lacing in the glass
- Taste: Spicy notes of clove and pepper up front followed by a quick, tart finish with a hint of pomegranate. Slight cracker/bready note also present with a mild balancing bitterness. Refreshing.
- Mouthfeel - Low body with medium/high carbonation. Spritzy and slightly prickly in the mouth. Light and refreshing.
- Overall Impression: A light, tart, slightly fruity farmhouse-inspired ale.
