Friday March 23 saw the launch of the Ides of March, a collaboration with Sleeman to bring back the Ontario classic lager Upper Canada Rebellion. The beer brought back great memories for anyone who’d ever had the original, including a number of Upper Canada alumni who came out for the event. Now named Repatriation, the strong lager was brewed with input from a number of sources. In addition to the launch, we hosted a pop-up Upper Canada museum (thanks to unofficial archivist Oliver Dawson). To round things out, the Rebel House was on-hand to serve their famous ‘Rebel March Stew’
The launch was featured in a podcast by The Bartowel.
