Pint Sized Conversations | Fall Winter 23/24
Henderson Brewing is happy to announce another season of Pint Sized Conversations. The program, which has run since 2017, invites people in to come have a pint and share in creative programming with our partners.
Programming runs from October to March (6 months) and takes place at:

Vinyl Show & Tell
Vinyl Show And Tell happens on the first Wednesday of each month.
Co-hosted by Dead Dog Records, this event invites people to bring in their records and share stories about them with those gathered about why this record is in your collection and/or how or where and when you discovered this record.
Storytellers will be rewarded with a beer on us, and we will play the record for all to enjoy!
Event starts at 7:00pm

The event is free (and extremely popular), so we encourage people to purchase tickets in advance to guarantee entry.
Tickets are $6 and include a beer or soft drink, and a raffle ticket for the FREE record of the month!
Plus, every ticket gets 10% off any record(s) purchased on the night of at the Dead Dog Records pop-up shop!
Beer & Book Club
The second Wednesday of the month features Beer and Book Club with our neighbours House of Anansi.
Each month Anansi will loan us one of their excellent authors to come in and discuss their recent book, along with anything else you might want to ask them. The line up this year includes:
- October 11 – Michael Melgaard - (Deborah Dundas moderator)
- November 8 – Adriana Chartrand
- December 13 – Holiday special with Anansi staff favourite books of the year
- January 10 – Christine Estima
- February 14 – Lily Wang
- March 13 – Kate Hilton and Liz Renzetti
Events start at 7:00pm
The event is free, but we encourage attendees to purchase tickets in advance to guarantee entry.
Tickets are $6 and include a beer or soft drink, plus a raffle ticket for monthly prizes. Every ticket gets 15% off any book purchased on the night of the event.
For $22 patrons will get a copy of the book (upon its release) in addition to their beer/soft drink, raffle ticket, and discount.
Trivia with Vicki
On the third Wednesday of the month, we host Trivia with Vicki.
Vicki has been hosting Trivia at Henderson for a while so we thought we’d spice it up with a 6 month, cumulative points prize of a huge Henderson Prize Pack in addition to the weekly prizes.
Each month Vicki will have a different theme, giving all participants a chance to show their knowledge. Themes will be announced the week before the events.

Tickets are $25 per team (max 4 people) and include a pitcher of beer or soft drink, plus a raffle tickets for monthly prize. While you can register a team from free on the night of the event, an advance ticket ensures your team a place at the table.
Short Film Night
The last Wednesday of the month features the return of our short film night - Ambient Light Films - hosted by Verb Factory.
This event features local filmmakers showing off their short films and answering questions about them.
Each month will have a different theme:
- October 25 – Horror
- November 29 – Comedy
- December 27 – Seasonal
- January 31 – Canadiana
- February 28 - Musical
- March 27 - Mystery
